A few face painting instructions
It has become an essential part of every children’s parties, Halloween and other events. It keeps the children busy and entertained. Adults like face painting, too, and they have their faces painted. Face painting used to done on warriors of tribes who were going off to battle. Face paint was used to frighten their enemies. Nowadays, face painting is an event that children look forward to and is done all in the name of fun. There are a lot of face painting services available nowadays so why not try your take on this business too? Here are a few face painting instructions that can get you started.
One of the first face painting instructions is to choose your designs. Ensure your copy of the design you want to do and make sure that you can do that. Make sure that you can copy the picture or do something similar to that. Prepare separate designs for boys and girls and have some neutral designs too. There are various face painting designs available online or you can also buy at your local bookstore.
The second of the face painting instructions is to do an outline. It is better to purchase a face painting marker to outline your design if you’re not sure you can do free hand on kids’ faces. It is very helpful since you can just choose the right colors and shade after doing this.
Face painting instructions number three: Be careful when painting around the eyes. Our eyes are one of the most sensitive parts of our body and no matter how safe the paints claim to be, getting some of it in the eye will hurt. Be sure to ask the kids to close their eyes or just stay away from areas very near the eye itself. Better be safe than regret it afterwards.
Next of the face painting instructions is to use water based face paint. This is the best type of face paint to use because it is easy to remove from the face and on clothes. Since kids are fond of having the paint get on their clothes, it is advisable to use a water-based paint because it might be hard to remove if you use other types of paints. The best paint to use are those water-based paints since they are hypoallergenic and won’t harm children’s skins.
Last of the face painting instructions: Most of all, just have fun! You can also face paint your face before doing it on the kids’ faces in order to show them that doing it on the face does not hurt. This will ensure the safety of the kids and you’ll end up looking wonderful, too.
